16 Service Center authorizes your plugins and reports that activation is successful. Close the Native

Instruments Service Center by clicking the X in the top-right corner of the window.

You’re almost done! Receptor simply needs to “learn” that these new plugins are now available. This is a

processcalled“RefreshPlugins”anditwillrunautomaticallyuponquittingServiceCenter.RefreshingPlugins

isdiscussedinthenextsection.

Refresh Plugins

WheneveryouaddnewpluginstoReceptor,itneedsto“learn”abouttheirexistence.Thisiscalled“refreshing

plugins.”DuringaKomplete5installation,pluginsareautomaticallyrefreshedafteryouclosetheService

Center.Thatprocessisdescribedhere:

NOTE: You can also trigger a manual plugin refresh by going to Receptor’s SETUP View, clicking “Run

Utility” in the INSTALL Section and, in the pop-up menu that appears, clicking “Refresh Plugins.”

1 Upon closing the Service Center, Receptor will begin running the Refresh Plugins Utility.

This utility analyzes and prepares your plugins for use on Receptor.
